What we believe

Who is behind it

Dudi BitonFounder
Over 20 years in real estate: buying, renovating and renting apartments and buildings. In 2009 he built the student dorms in the centre of Herzliya, where more than a thousand students have lived, and in 2020 founded WeMates to offer students another kind of home.
Zachary RosenbergCo-Founder
Moved to Israel from the US in 2010 and studied business administration at Reichman University. In 2018 he founded the first real-estate agency for student housing, and brought more than 250 students from 20 countries to homes in Herzliya.

The person every Mate knows. She walks you through moving in, connects the roommates, and makes sure every question gets an answer.

Runs the maintenance of all our apartments. When something breaks, his team is the one that comes and fixes it, so the home keeps working the way it should.

Brings high-tech standards to renting a room. Builds the systems behind WeMates, so that finding a room, signing and getting service are simple and fast.

Handles the legal side: the contracts with the tenants and the agreements with the homeowners. Makes sure every agreement is clear and fair to both sides.

Keeps the company's finances in order: invoices, reports and everything with the authorities.
